We provide the following housing counseling services:

Weatherization Assistance Program

Designed to provide homeownership assistance to the elderly, disabled, or high energy users, the Tucson Urban League is proud to offer a weatherization assistance program. We know that owning and maintaining a home can be a significant burden on citizens who are already dealing with financial hardship, so this program is designed to alleviate many common homeownership maintenance costs.

Services can include:

  • Air sealing to reduce infiltration
  • Testing, tuning and maintaining heating and cooling systems
  • Duct installation
  • Replacing smoke detectors
  • Homeowner energy education
  • Testing hot water heaters, stoves, and refrigerators for energy efficiency and safety
  • Shading sun exposed windows, primarily for houses using central air conditioning
  • Installing energy efficient light bulbs

Home Repair Program
